Alice Darling

Alice M. Darling, 96 of Fairbury, passed away March 30, 2009 at the Blue Valley Nursing Home in Hebron, NE. She was born July 29, 1912 at Fairbury, NE to Alfred and Emma Sievert Stauss. She was married to Clair Darling. She is survived by daughters, Beverly Hergott and husband Joe of Hebron, NE, Suzanne Logan and husband Harold Jr. of Fairbury, NE. 13 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. A brother C.C. (Dick) Stauss of Fairbury, NE. Alice was preceded in death by her parents, husband Clair, son Jack, brother Raymond, sisters Gladys and Dorothy, a grandson Douglas Hergott. Funeral services will be held Friday, April 3, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. at Gerdes-Meyer Chapel in Fairbury with Pastor Leonard Leslie officiating. Burial will be in the Fairbury Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the family's choice.
