Alta J. Henk

Alta June Henk, Western, NE, 5th of the 6 children of Leslie and Emma Bierhaus was born at Campbell, NE on August 7, 1929, and departed this life at Hilltop Lodge Nursing Home, Beloit, KS on June 22, 2012.

Alta is survived by son Danny and wife Mary of Beloit, KS, and grandsons Christopher Henk of Western and Casey Henk of Beloit, KS.

She is also survived by daughter Connie Van Overeen, and husband Eric, granddaughters Ashley Fox, Jessica Fox, 6 great grandchildren, and grandson Joshua Baker, all of Lincoln, NE.
Alta is also survived by her brother Milford Bierhaus and wife Luceeta of Campbell, NE, sister in law Evelyn Bierhaus of Lincoln, NE, sister in law Verda Schoenbeck and husband Vernon of Tobias, NE, brother in law Ronnie Henk and wife Elaine of Williamsburg, VA and a multitude of nephews and nieces.

Memorial services will be Saturday June 30, 10:00 am at St. John’s United Church of Christ, Western, NE with burial of Alta and Boyd’s cremations at Plainview Cemetery, Western, NE immediately following. Family will greet friends following burial.
