Alta Lucile Pershing

Alta Lucile Pershing, 80, of Fairbury, Nebraska passed away January 31, 2024 at Jefferson Community Health and Life in Fairbury. Alta was born January 1, 1944 in Greenwood, NE to DeAlton and Florence (Stradley) Fulmer.
Alta graduated high school in Ashland, NE and worked in the accounting division for Nebraska Game & Parks until her retirement. She was a member of the Greenwood Methodist Church and the Greenwood Eastern Star.
Alta was a people person, always enjoying spending time with family and friends. She loved to cook, play cards and especially liked going out to see a movie.
Alta was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Gary Fulmer.
She is survived by her daughter, Tracey (Ron) Olson; son, Todd Pershing; and grandchildren, Jentry Olson, Andrea and Ashley Pershing.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Chapel in Fairbury, NE on Thursday, February 8, 2024 from 5:00 – 7:00 pm. Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements. www.gerdesmeyerfh.com
