Arlene A. Roesler age 73 of Western passed away on February 19, 2012. She was born October 7, 1938 at Daykin, Nebraska the daughter of William and Dora Bartels Schwisow.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth of Fairbury; daughters Connie Brandt and husband Jerry of Western, Teresa Maschman and husband Jerry of Daykin, Tami Rearick and husband Matt of Liberty, Missouri; son Scott and wife Cheryl of Omaha; grandchildren Andrew Brandt and wife Stacey, Justin Brandt, Chelsey Brandt, Timothy Maschman, Heather Maschman, Christina Maschman, Nickolas Maschman and wife Melissa, John Maschman, Samantha Maschman, Aaron Rearick, Brandon Roesler, and Kayla Roesler; great-grandchildren Addison Brandt, Peyton Wood, Miles Maschman, and Cheyana Maschman; brother Dennis Schwisow and wife Shari of Western; sisters-in-law Pat Schwisow of Western, Rosie Schwisow of Friend, Verneda Weishahn of Fairbury, Joan Schwisow and husband Virgil of Nampa, Idaho, Caroline Haake and husband Lester of Lincoln, and Elaine Walke and husband Willard of Beatrice; and brothers-in-law Vernon Roesler and wife Janile of Fairbury, George Roesler and wife JoAnn of Western, Rolland Roesler of Lincoln, and Lawrence Roesler of Crete.
Arlene was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Willis, Dale and William D., brothers-in-law Paul, Herbert, Robert, Willard and Arnold Roesler, sisters-in-law Cynthia Schwisow and Charlotte Schwisow.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 24, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at the Immanuel Lutheran Church of rural Daykin with Pastor Paul Beyer officiating. Burial will be at the Plainview Cemetery at Western. Viewing will be on Wednesdasy from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home in Fairbury, Thursday from 1:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Meyer Funeral Home in Western with the family greeting friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Friday one hour before services at the church.
