Arthur D. Rickers 84 of Fairbury, NE. passed away March 6, 2018 at Gardenside LTC in Fairbury. He was born September 23, 1933 at Wymore, NE. to John & Sena (Heinrichs) Rickers. Graduate of Odell High School. Long time Carpenter in the community. Built a lot of farm houses. Survivors are Wife: Ardith Rickers of Fairbury, Daughters: Lorri Rickers of Fairbury, Marcia & Roger Penrod of Salina, KS., Grandchildren: Jon & Terra Rickers, Jared & Julia Penrod, Hillary Penrod & fiancé Justin Randa, Laura Penrod, Daughter-in-law: Barb & Dean Blincow of Hebron, Brother: Vernon & Marilyn Rickers of Odell. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday March 12, 2018 at Grace Lutheran Church in Fairbury, with Pastor Charles Schmidt. Burial at the Grace Lutheran Cemetery – Gladstone, NE. Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home in Fairbury is in charge of arrangements.
