Avis Faye Thrasher, age 95 of Fairbury passed away on January 16, 2009 in Fairbury. She was born July 24, 1913 at Burchard, Nebraska the daughter of George and Cora Banlian McLaughlin.
Survivors include her daughter Donna Ross and husband John, 5 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 6 step-great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be on Thursday, January 22, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. at the Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home with Pastor Leonard Leslie officiating. Burial of cremains will be in the Fairbury Cemetery.
