Barbara Dewey

Barbara Lee Dewey, age 72 of York, Nebraska, formerly of Fairbury, died on May 11, 2008 in York. She was born July 10, 1935 at Fairbury, the daughter of Glenn and Georgia Thompson Hunt.

Survivors include her children Michael Dewey, Scott Dewey, Cindy Dewey, 2 grandchildren, brother Jim Hunt and wife Judy, sisters Audrey Hansmire and husband Gerald and Mary Jo Castigliano.

Vigil service will be on Wednesday, May 14, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. at the Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home. Mass will be on Thursday, May 15, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at the Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home with Father Kenneth Hoesing officiating. Burial will be in the Fairbury Cemetery.
