Barbara M.K. Scherbarth

Barbara M.K. Scherbarth, age 83 of Fairbury, passed away on April 23, 2010 at Fairbury. She was born August 21, 1926 at Fairbury the daughter of Henry and Phillippine Ochs Walkemeyer.

Survivors include her daughters Karen Rosekrans and husband Larry, Ilene Kaplan, Marie Ney and husband Joe, son Albert Scherbarth, 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 26, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. at the Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home in Fairbury with Dale Hill officiating. Burial will be in the Fairbury Cemetery. The family will greet friends on Sunday from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
