Barbara Schumicky

February 2, 1940 — January 2, 2009

Barbara L. Schumicky, age 68 of Fairbury passed away on January 2, 2009 in Fairbury. She was born February 2, 1940 at Omaha, Nebraska the daughter of Robert and Monietta McKernan Kiger.

Survivors include her sister Patricia Magruder, brothers Michael Harmes and Timothy Harmes, nieces and nephews.

Vigil service will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. at the Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home. A mass will be held on Friday, January 9, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Michael's Catholic Church in Fairbury. Burial of cremains will be at a later date.
