Bernadine A. Ginn

Bernadine Ann (Gould) Ginn, 78 years 9 months and 11 days of Reynolds, NE, passed away February 1, 2014 at the Thayer County Hospital in Hebron, Ne. She was born April 21, 1935 the eldest child of Harlan & Nina Simmons Gould, on a farm in Benson County, ND. She went to country schools in Kansas through the 8th grade.

On May 5, 1951, she married Ralph Ginn in Hebron, NE and they made their home in Morrowville, KS. To this union, 5 children were born. The couple moved to Arizona and lived there from 1955 to 1967. They returned to Nebraska because of health reasons and made their home in Fairbury. In 1968, they moved to Reynolds and started a welding shop where she assisted in the running of the business until Ralph retired. She worked at Swingsters in Fairbury, until she retired in 1998.

Survivors include children; E. Diann Jurgena and her husband Tyrone of Fairbury, Doris Ginn , Jerry and his wife Sharon, all of Reynolds, NE; Garry and his wife Michelle of Gillette WY., six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, brothers; Walter and his wife Marie of Wallula, WA; Russell Gould of St. Joseph, MO; sister-in-law, Patty Gould of Crete, NE and numerous other relatives.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Ralph, parents, infant daughter; Donna Jean, Granddaughter; Christina, great-granddaughter; Alexandra, brothers; Loyal, Sam and Danny Gould.

Services will be Saturday February 8, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at the Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home Chapel in Fairbury with Pastor Jon Jensen officiating. Burial will be at Rose Creek Cemetery, Reynolds, NE. at a later date. Memorials will go to Family's choice. Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home in Fairbury is in charge of the arrangements.
