Bernice Elgert, age 88 of Fairbury passed away on September 11, 2008 in Fairbury. She was born on August 9, 1920 at Tobias, Nebraska the daughter of Roy and Minnie Kollmorgan McDonald.

Survivors include her son Darrel and Rose Elgert, 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, September 16, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. at the Four Square Church in Fairbury with Pastor David Lutze officiating. Burial was in the Fairbury Cemetery.
