Bertha Marie Compton

Bertha Marie Compton, age 98 of Fairbury, formerly of Mahaska, Kansas, passed away on December 2, 2008 in Fairbury. She was born January 21, 1910 at Jansen, Nebraska the daughter of Henry and Sophia Wegele Zubick.
Survivors include her daughter Marilyn Wagoner, daughter-in-law June Compton, 6 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, sister Laura Compton, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be on Friday, December 5, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the Presbyterian Church in Mahaska, KS. with Pastor Sally White officiating. Burial will be in the Mahaska Cemetery.
