Bertha Klaus

Bertha Klaus of Beatrice died on February 5, 2007 at the Beatrice Community Hospital at the age of 96. Bertha was born on November 18, 1910 at Hanover, Kansas the daughter of Heinrich and Elsie Meyer Scheele.

Survivors include her daughter Velora Adam of Odell, son Donald and wife Olivia Klaus of Beatrice, daughter-in-law Sandra and husband Allen Colgrove of Odell, 8 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.

Services will be on Wednesday, February 7, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church of Bremen, Kansas. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 5-9 p.m. at the Vance-Gerdes Chapel in Odell and on Wednesday from 9-11:30 a.m. at Odell and one hour before services at the church.
