Brock A. Maschman

Brock Allen Maschman was born July 27, 1964 at Fairbury, Nebraska.  One of five children born to Elliot and Carolyn (Brueggemann) Maschman.  He died August 6, 2019 in Dickens, Nebraska at the age of 55 years and 10 days.

Brock was baptized as an infant on August 16, 1964 at St. John Lutheran Church in Daykin by Pastor John W. Adix.  He was confirmed at St. John Lutheran Church on April 30, 1978 by Pastor Arno Schelper.

Brock’s faith was an important part of his life.

He graduated from Meridian High School in 1982.   Following high school, he graduated from Southeast Community College, Milford Campus with an Associates Degree of Auto Mechanics Technology.

Brock worked in various mechanical and construction vocations throughout his life.  His employer at the time of his death was CSS Farms, North Platte, NE.  He enjoyed fishing, camping and riding his Harley motorcycle.

Preceding him in death was his father Elliot.  Surviving him are his mother Carolyn Maschman; sons Devon & Erin Maschman of Western and Nicholas Maschman of Wilber; sisters Anita and Douglas Bartels of DeWitt, Wanda and Leon Slama of Wilber, Juli and Donald Durflinger of Alexandria and Joni and Tim Duis of Hanover, Kansas; grand daughters Dakota and Eleanor Maschman; nieces and nephews.

Services will be Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at 10:30 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Daykin, NE. The Family will greet friends on Tuesday evening from 6 – 7:30 p.m. at the Funeral Home.  Memorials will go to the Family’s Choice.  Burial in St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery, Daykin. Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
