Clara M. Blatny

Clara M. Blatny age 93 of Fairbury passed away June 12, 2013. She was born August 22, 1919 at Schuyler, Nebraska the daughter of Peter and Mary Hamata.

Survivors include her son Dr. Richard Blatny and special friend Joyce Carlson of Fairbury, daughter Marlyce Banning and husband Ron of Omaha, 7 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services - Vigil, Sunday, June 16, 7:00 p.m. at the Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home in Fairbury, - Mass Monday, June 17, 2013 10:00 A.M. St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Fairbury. Interment will be at 3:00 p.m. Monday at the Schuyler City Cemetery at Schuyler, Nebraska. Visitation on Saturday will be from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
