Clara Garton

Clara Matilda Garton age 86 of Fairbury died on March 5, 2007 at the Gardenside Nursing Home in Fairbury. She was born on June 18, 1920 at Benson, Minnesota the daughter of Carl and Caroline Oyen Evenson.

Survivors include her daughter Patricia and husband John Moon of Beatrice, son Dennis and wife Pat Garton of Fairbury, sister Esther McComb of Olympia, Washington. 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband John, son William, a brother and a sister.

Services will be on Saturday, March 10, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. at the Grace Lutheran Church in Fairbury with Pastor Charles Schmidt officiating. Burial will be in the Fairbury Cemetery.
