Dale Swartz

Dale Henry Swartz, age 90 of Endicott, Nebraska died on February 19, 2007 at the Gardenside Nursing Home in Fairbury. He was born January 28, 1917 at Endicott, the son of James Louis and Frances Emily Stolting Swartz. He served as the Jefferson County Veterans Service officer and was a World War II veteran having served in the U.S. Army from November 15, 1944 through July 11, 1946 attaining the rank of master sergeant.

Survivors include wife Opal Swartz of Endicott, daughters Colleen and husband Bob Grammer of Endicott, Sharon and husband Gene Kapperman of Ft. Collins, Colorado, LaVon Ashby of Laport, Colorado, son Randall Swartz and Sally Chrastil of Endicott, daughter-in-law Cheryl Prescott of Ft. Lupton, Colorado, 14 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and son Roger.

Services will be on Friday, February 23, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. at the Endicott United Methodist Church with Pastor Warren Schoming officiating. Burial will be in the Fairbury Cemetery.
