Dan Mccown, Jr.

Dan McCown, Jr., age 73 of Endicott passed away on August 2, 2009 in Fairbury. He was born January 24, 1936 at Beatrice, Nebraska the son of Helen Baker McCown and Dan McCown, Sr.

Survivors include his wife Phyllis McCown, daughter Sandy McCown, sons David McCown, Dan F. McCown and wife Frances, Seth McCown and wife Kristine, 12 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, brothers Lonnie McCown, John McCown and wife Roxanne, sisters Thelma Knowles, Judy Johnson and husband Larry, sister in law Jan Bratingham.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. at the Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home in Fairbury with Don Canady officiating. Burial will be in the Fairbury Cemetery with military rites.
