Dana Lynn Raney

Dana Lynn Raney 26 of Alexandria, Nebraska passed away April 13, 2014 at her home. She was born December 17, 1987 to David Lynn and Linda Marie (Hasselbring) Raney in Fairbury, Nebraska.

Surviving her death are her parents David and Linda Raney of Alexandria, her brother Ed Raney and his wife Kim and nieces Gabrielle Jeannette and Karina Marie of Wahoo, Nebraska; sister Leann Obermeier and her husband Ryan of Annandale, Virginia; Grandparents Duane and Mel Raney of Osborne, Kansas; aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous dear friends.

She is preceded in death by Grandparents Eddie and Leona Hasselbring, Carol Van Tilborg and Uncle Kevin Raney.

Services will be August 9, 2014 with a Rosary held at 9:00 a.m. followed by Funeral Mass at 10:00 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Alexandria, Nebraska with Father John Birkel officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery at Alexandria. Memorials have been established to ALS in the Heartland and St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Alexandria for the cemetery and fence funds. Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home in Fairbury is in charge of the arrangements.
