Dawn M. Howard

Dawn (McMurphy) Howard, age 53, of Jansen NE, lost her battle with cancer on September 29, 2024. She was born December 29, 1970, to Frederick (Rick) McMurphy and Sherry (Meyer) McMurphy. Dawn graduated from Fairbury High School in 1989 and started a family soon after. Dawn always said her greatest accomplishment was her family.

She is survived by her children Jeff Howard of Jansen NE, Chandra (Howard) Russell of Jansen NE, Jessie Howard of Kearney NE and her 5 grandchildren Tracy, Ivy, Kayden, Preston and Felix.

Dawn also left behind many other family and friends too numerous to count whom she loved almost as much as her kids and grandkids.

The Celebration of Life will be held on October 12th at the Fairbury City Park Community Building from 11:00 a.m to 2:00 p.m.
