Debra L. Duitsman-Poley

Debra Lynne Duitsman-Poley, 56, of Fairbury, NE passed away peacefully on August 2, 2022 at
her home. She was born November 8, 1965 to Arthur & Janice (James) Duitsman in Beatrice,
NE.
Debra is survived by parents; Arthur & Janice Duitsman. Husband; John Poley. Sister; Ronda
(Tony) Siebe. Children; Josh (Michelle) Duitsman, Shaina (Mac) Henning, and Trace Peters.
Stepchildren; Drake (Cortney) Poley, Chaye (Tim) Cramer, and Collin (Alyssa M.) Poley.
Grandchildren; Sophia, Jimmy, Jacob, Uriah, Amaurice, and Bowen. Step Grandchildren;
Kaydence, Kenadee, Jaxon, Oliver, Korbyn, Landyn, and Caspian. Also many aunts, uncles,
cousins, nieces, and friends.
Debra enjoyed spending her time outdoors, tubing down the river and searching the sandbars
for various “treasures” to add to her “rock garden.” Her vivacious and generous manner will
always be something others cherish and miss greatly.
Family asks you to join them for Debra’s Celebration of Life on August 20th, 2022 at 2:00PM at
the Fire Hall in Steele City, NE (109 N Ida St.). Her Husband will also be holding a memorial
bike ride meeting at Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home at 12:00PM with the ride ending at the Fire
Hall. Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
