Deloris June Schlick Bower

Deloris June Schlick Bower age 71 of Fairbury passed away on July 27, 2012. She was born May 29, 1941 at Morehouse, Missouri the daughter of Robert and Evelyn Merrick Brown.

Survivors include her husband Bob Bower, children Kenneth A. Schlick, Michael Schlick and fiance Shantell McCandless, Theresia Peasley and husband David, Richard Schlick, Robert Schlick, Roberta Bowen, Terry Bower and wide Marlene, Michael Bower and wife Sue, Bruce Bower and wife Jennie, 17 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, sisters Opal Kenney, Zettia Payne, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and first husband Kenneth F. Schlick.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 6, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at the Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home in Fairbury. Burial will be at the Bower Cemetery north of Fairbury. Memorials are to St. Elizabeth Foundation NICU Parents. The family will greet friends on Sunday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
