Donald G. Boley was born January 16, 1948 to Arley and Lillian Boley of Fairbury and departed this life at his home Monday, October 5, 2015 after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 67.
He attended Fairbury Public Schools and was a member of the graduating class of 1966. After High School, Don worked for Smitty’s in Jansen. Don met the love of his life Carol Ann DeWald and they were married on October 21, 1967 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Fairbury.

Together Don and Carol purchased houses, remodeled them and rented them out. Don also worked and later bought Williams Exterminating.
In their leisure Don and Carol loved to travel making trips to 49 states and England, sometimes taking their Grandchildren Jake and Jessica Sand along. They both loved going to Casinos. For years “The Boley Bug Stompers” was Don’s little league baseball team he sponsored.
The two brightest spots in their lives were their Grandchildren Jake and Jessica Sand. Don and Carol were avid supporters of their many activities, including baseball, softball, football, basketball, and Girl Scouts.
