Donald Humble

Donald Humble 46, of Fairbury, passed away at his home on Friday, August 31, 2012. He worked at PVI in Fairbury in the shipping dept. Don was born October 21, 1965 at Fairbury, NE. He was preceded in death by his mother, grandparents and an aunt. He is survived by his fiance Linda Sherk of Fairbury, a son Giovanni Sherk of Mt. Joy, PA, a grandson Bentley Holland-Sherk, Father Richard Humble and wife Denise of Pratt, KS, sister Kimber Kleinbohl and husband Richard of Fairbury, brothers Nathan Humble and wife Nicole of Pratt, KS, Robert Humble of Miramar, CA and great grandmother, Alice Sommer of Agency, IA. Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 6, 2012 at 10:30 a.m., at the Gerdes-Meyer Chapel in Fairbury, with Larry Gouin officiating. Burial will be in the Steele City Cemetery at Steele City, NE. Memorials are suggested to Asaracare Hospice. The family will greet friends on Wednesday, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home in Fairbury is in charge of arrangements.
