Donald Alvin Nelson

Donald Alvin Nelson, age 89 of Fairbury died on January 12, 2008 in Fairbury. He was born May 8, 1918 at Fairbury, Nebraska the son of Edward and Alpha Merrifield Nelson.

Survivors include his wife Alice Nelson, son Edward Nelson and wife Linda, granddaughter Lesslie Nelson, sister Betty Anderson daughter-in-law Okley Howard, step-children Barbara Sell and husband Bill, Robert Fall, David Fall and wife Beverly, Diana Wheeler and husband Dan, 5 grandchildren, 8 step-grandchildren and 2 step great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Memorial Services will be on Wednesday, January 16, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. at the First Christian Church in Fairbury with Pastor Leonard Leslie officiating.
