Donald Dean Witt

Donald D. Witt, formerly of Fairbury, NE, passed away on December 26th, 2016 in Lincoln.

Born March 11, 1927 to Harvey, and Emma (Ritter) Witt in Fairbury, NE. After graduating from Fairbury high school, after working at the Fairbury windmill he served in the United States Army during World war II and was honorably discharged in 1947.

After many years working as an office machine technician for the Remington Rand company, he opened and ran his own office machine repair business very successfully,. Don enjoyed Collecting, gardening, and a good laugh.

He was preceded in Death by Brother Dale Witt of Steele City, Sisters Lucille Kershaw of Fairbury, Marcene Hinkley of Bremerton, WA.
Don is survived by his children, son Terry D. Witt of Torrington, CT. his daughter Lori A. Witt, of Lincoln. Brother Darrell Witt of Fairbury, Sisters Betty Weber of Fairbury, Shirley Mathy of Beatrice, and Paula Grace of Haddam, KS.

Graveside service will be on Friday June 16th, 2017 at 11:00 AM, Family and friends will gather after the service at a location to be announced.
