Dorothy B. Hains

Dorothy Bell Hains, 97, formerly of Jansen, Nebraska passed away April 3, 2022 at Beatrice Good Samaritan Society. Dorothy was born to Paul and Ellen ( Waters ) Hains on September 4, 1924 at Macy, Nebraska. She is survived by 4 nephews, 1 niece, extended family and friends.
Dorothy graduated from Walthill High School in 1944. She worked as a nurse aide at Fairbury Community Hospital until retirement.
Dorothy attended Christ Community Church in Beatrice, loved traveling, painting, quilting, and many other crafts. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Marjorie Browning and Pauline Archer, 1 niece, 1 nephew and life long friend Lena Friesen.
Internment at Jansen Cemetery. Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
