Doyle L. Dayhuff

Doyle L. Dayhuff age 64 of Fairbury passed away July 25, 2011 at his home. He was born August 16, 1946 at Canton, Ohio the son of Willbur and Lila Heinn Dayhuff.

Survivors include his loving wife of 46 years Lorraine, daughters Amy Meyn and husband Thomas of Fairbury, Soni Hydo and husband Todd of Beatrice, grandchildren Patricia Meyn of Fairbury, Samantha Meyn and fiancé Spencer Wurm of Fairbury, Tessa and Trent Hydo of Beatrice, brothers Paul Dayhuff, Randy Dayhuff, Brad Dayhuff and wife Pam all of Oswego, Kansas, Jerry Dayhuff and wife Linda of Chetopa, Kansas, sisters Beverly Littlejohn and husband Eddie of Washington, Bunny Bell and husband Howard of Oswego, Kansas, brother-in-law Bob Bush. Preceding him in death were his parents, brother Fred, sisters Joyce White and Doris Wenz, numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 28, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Fairbury with Pastor Joel Hahn officiating. Burial will be at a later date. The family will greet friends on Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home in Fairbury.
