Ed J. Pavlicek, age 97 of Fairbury, NE., passed away August 8, 2008 at Gardenside Long Term Care in Fairbury. He was born August 10, 1910 at Rural Fairbury, NE.

Survivors are daughter: Susan Pavlicek of Fairbury, brother: Ernie Pavlicek of Fairbury, numerous Nieces, Nephews & Cousins.

Preceded by Parents James & Josie (Barufka) Pavlicek, wife Mary, son Russell, brother Robert.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday August 12, 2008 at the Gerdes-Meyer Chapel in Fairbury, with Pastor Bill Jardine officiating. Burial at the Fairbury Cemetery. Memorials to Gardenside Long Term Care
