Edith C. Bristor

Edith “Carol” Bristor, 73 of Fairbury, NE passed away February 13, 2021 at Jefferson Community Health & Life. She was born on August 16, 1947 in Denver, CO, the youngest of nine children of Roy and Edith Crisler.

Carol and Howard Bristor were united in marriage on February 12, 1966 in  Loveland, CO. They lived in the Denver area with their children until they moved to Fairbury, NE in 1984.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Roy & Edith Crisler, her brothers Burd and Richard and her sisters, Lorraine, Edna, Eleanor, Evelyn, Geraldine, and Barbara.

Carol is survived by her husband of 55 years, Howard Bristor, Fairbury NE, her children Chris Stewart and son-in-law Brian of Fairbury, NE, Jason Bristor and daughter-in-law Cynthia, of Frederica, DE, Kim Clark and son-in-law Corey of Fairbury, NE,  Lorrie Noakes and son-in-law Scott of Longmont, CO,  as well as her grandchildren, Todd Stewart of Fairbury NE, Morgan (Cody) Lee of Fairbury, NE, Brandon Bristor (Lindsay) of PA, Courtney Bristor of DE, Mason Bristor of DE, Mara Torres, DE, Stephanie Torres, DE and her great grandchildren Aksel Stewart and Mikkie Lee of Fairbury, NE. She also leaves behind her sister-in-law Connie Crisler of Hutchison, KS, and many nieces and nephews.

A private graveside service will be scheduled at a later time.  Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
