Elaine C Huber

Elaine C. Huber, 90 of Alexandria, passed away March 29, 2018 at Heritage Care Center in Fairbury.  She was born March 24, 1928 at Alexandria, NE. Preceded by parents  Jake & Emma (Houser) Huber.

Services will be Tuesday, April 3, 2018 @ 2:00 pm @ the Presbyterian Church in Alexandria. Memorials to the Alexandria Cemetery. Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home in Fairbury are in charge of arrangements.

She graduated from Alexandria High School in 1946. She was baptized into Christ Jesus on February 7, 2018.

Elaine moved to her farm southwest of Alexandria in 1960 with her parents. Elaine was a very private person who lived her life alone on her farm after the death of her parents. She was often misunderstood, strong willed, tough, and lived her life on her terms. She is survived by her dear friend and caretaker Dawn May, her cousins and her beloved cat Mitsky. She will be missed by all family and friends.
