Elaine S. Sewell

Elaine Susan (Molden) Sewell, was born to Robert and Lillian (Schoenrock) Molden on January 3, 1952 in Fairbury, NE. She passed away May 19, 2017 at the age of 65 years, 4 months and 16 days at Blue Valley Lutheran Home in Hebron, NE.

Survivors include: Husband Richard Bothwell, Son, Joshua Hein, South Dakota Daughter, Jessica Sewell, Beatrice. Grandchildren, Wesley (Anya), Correy, Noah, Paxton and Natalie. Sister, Barb (Dean) Blincow, Hebron. Sisters in law, Nancy(Willie)Williamson, Barb(Matt) Harberts, Peggy Franzen. Nephew Jon (Terra) Rickers, great-nephews Jackson and Chase. Aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

She was baptized and confirmed at Zion United Church of Christ (now known as Zion Countryside Church), Gladstone, NE. Elaine graduated the 8th grade from District 71 Gladstone Grade School, and was a 1970 graduate of Fairbury High School.

Elaine was working as a Library Aid for the Fairbury Public Library, retiring due to her health in January 2016. Previously, she worked at Kids Connection. She enjoyed her family, job, co-workers, library patrons, gardening, cooking and hummingbirds.

Preceded in death by her parents, Brother Randall, Mother and Father in law, Gertrude and Darrel Bothwell, Brothers-in-law, Rodney Rickers, Quinten Bothwell and Granddaughter Tierra.

Services will be June 3, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home with Darlene Novotny officiating. Memorials will go to the Family’s Choice. Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
