Elmer Korthals
July 11, 1918 — September 10, 2008
Elmer John Korthals, age 90 of Fairbury passed away on September 10, 2008 in Grand Island, Nebraska. He was born July 11, 1918 at Jansen, Nebraska the son of Herman and Hattie Schmalz Korthals.
Survivors include his children, Patricia Peregrine and husband Larry, Mary Korthals, Leonard Korthals and wife Becky, 4 grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, 7 step-great-grandchildren, numerous brother and sister-in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Memorial services will be on Saturday, September 20, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. at the St. Paul United Church of Christ (Cub Creek) of rural Jansen, Nebraska with Pastor Deb Valentine officiating. Burial of cremains will be in the church cemetery.
