Elsa L. Colson

Elsa L. Colson, age 100 of Fairbury formerly of Norfolk, NE., passed away on July 27, 2009 in Fairbury. She was born January 17, 1909 at Clearwater, Nebraska the daughter of William and Emma Mielke Menebroker.

Survivors include her son Arden Schacht and wife Marilyn, 5 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild, nieces and nephews.

Fairbury services will be held on Thursday, July 30, 2009 at 6:30 p.m. at the Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home. Norfolk services will be on Friday, July 31, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. at the Mt. Olive Lutheran Church. Burial will be at 1:30 p.m. on Friday at the St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery at Orchard, Nebraska.
