Elsie Wood, age 98 of Fairbury passed away on October 19, 2008 in Fairbury. She was born on October 9, 1910 at Western, Nebraska the daughter of William and Emma Gutzmer Ziemann.

Survivors include her sons Bruce Wood and wife Linda, Glen Wood and wife Marilyn, 4 grandsons and 9 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be on Wednesday, October 22, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at the Presbyterian Church in Fairbury with Don Canady officiating. Burial will be in the Fairbury Cemetery.
