Esther E. Barber 98 of Fairbury, NE. passed away January 27, 2014 at Gardenside LTC in Fairbury. She was born January 27, 1916 in Ellis, NE. to Christian & Alvina (Quiram) Malchow.
Survivors are Son: Donald Barber & Wife Nancy of Fairbury, Daughters: Carolyn Meeske & Husband Kenneth of Wichita, KS., Judy Cary & Husband Kevin of Austin, TX., 8 Grandchildren, 14 Great Grandchildren, 2 Great-Great Grandchildren.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday February 1, 2014 at Immanuel Lutheran Church-Daykin, NE., with Pastor Paul Beyer officiating. The family will greet friends at the Funeral Home in Fairbury on Friday Jan. 31st from 7 to 8 p.m. Burial at the Fairbury Cemetery-Fairbury, NE. Memorials to the Church. Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home in Fairbury are in charge of arrangements.
