Etta Herfel age 74 of Jansen, Nebraska passed away on February 16, 2009 in Beatrice. She was born March 18, 1934 at Steele City, Nebraska the daughter of John and Irene Snodgrass Stelling.
Survivors include her sons John Herfel and wife Marvel, Delmar Herfel and Karmen Young, daughters Carlene Wiggins and husband Maurice, Loretta Epp and husband Gerald, 9 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, sisters Esther Holle, Barbara Kolars, Bethel Holle and husband Denny.
Funeral services will be on Thursday, February 19, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Jansen. Burial will be at the Fairbury Cemetery.
