Ezra Gustav Rosenthal

Ezra G. Rosenthal, 97, passed away December 31, 2016, at Cedarwood Assisted Living in Fairbury, NE. He was born January 13, 1919 to August and Fannie (Saathoff) Rosenthal at Sterling, NE.

Survivors are sons Dale (Darlene) Rosenthal of San Antonio, TX, Dean (Joni) Rosenthal of Milford, NE, daughters Janice Kirk, Norma Jean Smyth, Donna Mae (Lloyd) Hasse all of Lincoln, NE, 13 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, 12 great-great-grandchildren, and brother Donald (Donita) Rosenthal of Syracuse, NE.

Preceded in death by parents, wife Viola, 2 grandchildren, brothers Harold & Clarence, and sister Esther.

Services will be Thursday, January 5, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church with Pastor Charles Schmidt officiating. Burial will be in Parkhill Cemetery, at Syracuse, NE at 2:00 p.m. Memorials will go to Grace Lutheran Church. Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
