Fern Messing, age 91 of Fairbury, Nebraska, died on December 20, 2006 in Lincoln, Nebraska at the age of 91. Services will be on Tuesday, December 26, 2006 at 2:30 P.M. at the Presbyterian Church in Fairbury with Don Canady officiating. Burial will be in the Fairbury Cemetery. Survivors include sons (and wives) Jerald and Isabel Messing of San Diego, California, John and Gilda Messing of Dayton, Ohio and Kenneth Messing of Fairbury, Nebraska, daughters (and husbands) Ruth Messing of Arizona and Loretta and Dennis Hatfield of Hickman, Nebraska, brothers Kenneth Archer of Las Vegas, Nevada, Harold Archer of Aurora, Colorado and Wayne Archer of Aurora, Colorado, sister Louise Mauch of Henderson, Colorado, 8 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Visitation will be on Fri. Dec 22. from 5:00 - 9:00 p.m. Sat. Dec. 23 9:00 a.m. 9:00 p.m. Sunday Dec. 24 No Visitation. Monday Dec. 25 Visitation will be 6:00 - 9:00 p.m.
