Florence M. Dux

Florence M. Dux was born September 17th, 1927, to Nicholaus (Henry) Eisenhauer and Edna (Ahrens) Eisenhauer. She grew up on the family farm near Gladstone Nebraska. She attended Lutheran parochial grade school and graduated from Fairbury High school in 1945. On April 22, 1947, she married Raymond A. Dux. To this union four children were born. Patricia, Timothy, Douglas, and Kathleen. She worked at J.C. Penney in Fairbury and in several Federal Civil Service positions. She retired in her early sixties. She and her husband loved travel. Florence was an active member of the Friendly Thursday club and many groups at the American Lutheran Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, son Douglas, sister Betty, and parents. She is survived by her daughter Patricia Gaster (Rolland) of Lincoln, son Timothy (Linda) of Fairbury, daughter Kathleen of Lincoln, grandson Gabriel Dux of Fairbury, James Gaster of Aurora Colorado, and Thomas Gaster of Lincoln.

Services will be Saturday, April 9, 2022 at 10:00 at American Lutheran Church in Fairbury.  Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
