Floyd Scheele

Floyd Scheele 72, of Fairbury, passed away, Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at Jefferson Community Health Center in Fairbury.  He was born September 19, 1939 to Walter & Clara Rentschler Scheele at Atkinson, NE.

Graduated from Diller High School in 1958.  Was united in marriage to Karen Gutzmer on June 4, 1960 at Fairbury, NE.  Floyd managed Pinecrest Apartment building in Fairbury and was a Tour Guide.

He is survived by his wife Karen, son Monty Scheele and wife Julie of Hickman, NE, daughters Wendy Menke and husband Steve of Beatrice, NE, Sherri Scheele and Brad McIver of Omaha, NE.  Grandchildren Brent & Trevor Menke and Jorie & Jacob Scheele.  Brother LeRoy Scheele and wife Zona of Las Vegas, NV, sister Esther Haymore of Laverne, CA and step brother Jim Pagel of Tokyo, Japan.  He was preceded in death by his parents and step father Wilbert Pagel.

Services will be held Saturday, October 29, 2011 at 10:00 a.m., at the American Lutheran Church with Pastor John Brink officiating.  Burial will be in the Fairbury Cemetery.  Memorials are suggested to American Lutheran Church or Family's Choice.  Closed Casket.  No Viewing.  A register book is available to sign at the funeral home.
