Gary L. Barton

Gary Lee Barton, 77, of Haddam, KS, was killed Sunday, April 17, 2016 in a car accident.

Gary was born on January 9, 1939, in Granbury, Texas to Moody and Viola Barton. He married Judy Farley on June 28, 1971, in King George County, VA.

Gary enjoyed fishing and spending time with his great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Barton, on June 13, 2003, a son Michael Lee Barton, a brother Bruce Barton, and a sister Gladys Tomlinson.

Survivors include a daughter, Amy Minogue of Haddam, KS; a son, Kevin Farley and wife Mardiy of Glennville, GA; Brother Porter Barton and wife Bobbie of Pahrump, NV; granddaughters Brandi Ragsdale and fiancé Marc Selewski of Haddam, KS; AshLee Springer and husband Adam of Marion, IN; 4 great-grandchildren; and numerous other friends and family members.

There will be no viewing, but a private family service will be held at a later date.
