Gary L. Jones

Gary L. Jones, age 67 of Fairbury, Nebraska passed away on Wednesday, June 2, 2010 in Lincoln. He was born May 10, 1943 at Fairbury the son of Henry and Evelyn Shoup Jones. He served in the U.S. Navy and was a brick layer.


Survivors include his significant other Jill Ehrett of Fairbury, daughter Michelle Jones of Hays, Kansas, brothers Allen Jones and wife Letha, Charles Jones and wife Joyce, sister Estaletta Jones all of Fairbury, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.


Cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be held on Monday, June 7, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home in Fairbury with Lana Likens officiating. The family will greet friends on Sunday from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials are to the family's choice.
