Gary L. Traeger

Gary L. Traeger 64 of Fairbury, NE. passed away April 27, 2014. He was born April 5, 1950  at Fairbury, NE. to Deyo & Velma (Mooren) Traeger.

Gary graduated from Fairbury High School in 1968 and from UNL in 1972 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science. He was a member of the Farmers Co-op Elevator Board, the Extension Board, and the 4-H Council. He was an FFA American Farmer, and Nebraska S. E. District Holstein Officer as well as State FFA Vice President.

Survivors are Son: Dana Traeger of Gilead, NE., Brother: Dennis Traeger of Fairbury, NE. Preceded by Parents.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday May 2, 2014 at the Presbyterian Church in Fairbury, with Pastor Gail Cross officiating. Burial at the Fairbury Cemetery – Fairbury, NE. Memorials to The Presbyterian Church. Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home in Fairbury is in charge of arrangements.
