George E. Nutsch

George E. Nutsch, age 85 of Fairbury passed away on June 17, 2009 in Fairbury. He was born December 26, 1923 at rural Mahska, Kansas the son of Paul and Anna Zabokrtsky Nutsch.

Survivors include his wife Catherine Nutsch, daughters Peggy Nolte and husband Randall, Janet Schneider and husband Richard, sons James Nutsch and Julie Schachtschabel, Gregory Nutsch and wife Lori, Kevin Nutsch and wife Shelley, brother Francis W. Nutsch, 10 grandchildren, 5 step-grandchildren, brothers-in-law Alvin (Jesse) James, Maurice Cumro and wife Viola, Louis Cumro and wife Sandy, sister-in-law June Nutsch, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Vigil service will be on Sunday, June 21, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. at the Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home. Mass will be on Monday, June 22, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. at the St. Michael's Catholic Church in Fairbury with Father John Birkel officiating. Burial will be in the Fairbury Cemetery.
