Gerald Carmichael

April 18, 1917 — March 23, 2009

Gerald Vance Carmichael, age 91 of Greeley, Colorado, formerly of Fairbury passed away on March 23, 2009 in Greeley. He was born April 18, 1917 at Diller, Nebraska the son of Vance and Gertrude Blauser Carmichael.

Survivors include his wife Dorthea Carmichael, granddaughters Brenda Kirk and husband Shane, Kathy Ambriz and husband Joe, 6 great-grandchildren, 10 step grandchildren, 11 step great-grandchildren, sisters Irene Mason and Ilene Ditsworth, brothers Deo Carmichael and wife Ona and Jack Carmichael and wife Norma.

Funeral services will be on Monday, March 30, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. at the Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Cutts officiating. Burial will be in the Fairbury Cemetery.
