Geraldine Eleanor Schreier

Geraldine E. Schreier (Huigens) passed away in Fairbury Nebraska on the date of July 9, 2025.  She was 95 years old.

Geri was born in Creighton Nebraska on December 1, 1929.  She married Alan Dale Schreier February 14, 1952 and to them one daughter Lori was born.  During her life, Geri worked as a Secretary for the Rock Island Railroad and Southeast Community College.  After the death of her husband Alan she also ran the auto parts store in Fairbury for many years.

Geri is survived by her sister Phyllis Ulrich and nieces and nephews.  Geri is preceded in death by her parents, Henry L and Marjorie Huigens, her husband Alan Schreier and her daughter Lori Miller as well as her brother Allen Huigens.

Funeral Services will be held at St. Michael’s Catholic Church on July 14, 2025.  A Rosary will be held before the service at 10:00 AM and Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30.  Burial will be held at Fairbury Cemetery.
