Harold Beal Kulhanek, Jr.

Harold Beal Kulhanek Jr., 92, of Fairbury, Nebraska passed away Thursday June 8th at Bryan East Hospital in Lincoln. He was born July 19, 1930, in Steele City, NE. Son of Harold B. Kulhanek and Verneeda Kulhanek. He was united in marriage to Esther Eden in 1956. They had 3 daughters and 2 sons.

He is survived by daughter Joyce James (Donald Wood) of Omaha NE, son Kevin E. Kulhanek (Susan Kulhanek) of Kountze TX, brother Jim Kulhanek (Mary Kulhanek) of Lincoln NE, sister Ethel Beetly of Arizona, sister Lorraine Richardson of Omaha NE, granddaughter Brandi Kubes (Jeff Kubes) of Fairbury NE, great granddaughter Kianna McLain (Dalton McLain) of Fairbury NE, great-grandson Dawson Kubes of Fairbury NE, great-great-grandsons Carter, Easton, Michael, & Denver (McLain) and several other grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Harold is predeceased in death by his parents, wife Esther, baby Harold B Kulhanek III, brothers Duane, Louie, Earle, sisters Marilyn, an Myrita, daughters Cloey Ann Lopez, Billie Jean Mohr and grandson Kolby Kulhanek.

Services will be held Monday June 19, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Gerdes-Meyer funeral home in Fairbury. Memorials will go to the Family’s Choice. Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
