Harold D. Shirey 63 of Fairbury, NE., passed away February 11, 2013 at Jefferson Community Health Center in Fairbury. He was born September 10, 1949 in Fairbury, NE. to Harold L. & Narvine (Blanchard) Shirey.

Survivors are Sisters: Donna Shirey of Fairbury, & Bobbi Shirey of Fairbury. A niece Angie Tyser and husband Sheldon of Hallam, NE and nephew Scott Shirey of Diller, NE. Preceded by Parents, Brother Lee.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 15, 2013 at Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home in Fairbury, with Pastor Brooks Bryan officiating. The family will greet friends Thursday February 14th from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Funeral Home in Fairbury. Burial at the Fairbury Cemetery - Fairbury, NE. Memorials are to the family's choice. The family requests that you wear casual attire to the funeral service.
