Henry F. Ortgies

Henry F. Ortgies age 105 of Fairbury, Nebraska passed away on May 4, 2012. He was born February 27, 1907 in Thayer County, Nebraska the son of Wilhelm and Tomka Lubben Ortgies.

Survivors include his four children Donovan Ortgies and wife Sandra of Coupeville, Washington, Delvin Ortgies and wife Arlene of Yutan, Nebraska, Karen Spengler of Rio Vista, California, Ardith Morgan of Battle Mountain, Nevada, 9 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 11, 2012 at 11:30 a.m. at the Faith Lutheran Church in Fairbury with Pastor Ken Hart officiating. Burial will be in the Fairbury Cemetery. The family will greet friends on Friday from 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. at the church.
